Even though customers could always use Amsoil in their motorcycles, Amsoil made a formulation change to their popular 10W-40 and 20W-50 oils in 2000 and produced High Performance Motorcycle Engine Oil. Amsoil's new 20W-50 for V-Twin Engines and 10W-40 for 4-Cycle Engines immediately became the Synthetic of choice with the Harley Davidson crowd. In May 2002, Amsoil introduced a line of motorcycle oil filters. Filters are available for most brands and models of motorcycle and are listed in the Motorcycle Oil Filter and Cross Reference Guide.
